Feiyu Pocket 3 Specifications
Carrying the modular concept, Pocket 3 consists of two modules that can be easily removed and installed. So, it is very different from the first generation which was launched in 2020.
The main module is a camera mounted on a three-axis gimbal and comes with a magnetic mount. Thanks to the magnetic mount and 3-axis gimbal, the camera module can be attached to a helmet, car door or any metal surface for stable shooting. So, it can be used as an action camera or just experimenting with shooting angles.
Meanwhile, the second module is a hand grip which is equipped with a touch screen and navigation buttons. This hand grip can also be used as a remote control for remote shooting. Another option is that the camera can be controlled via an application on a smartphone.
To record videos and take photos, the Feiyu Pocket 3 specifications are entrusted to the Sony IMX577 CMOS sensor measuring 1/2.3 inches with a resolution of 12 megapixels. Right in front of the sensor is a 16mm lens with 4X digital zoom capability.
The video recording capability can be up to 4K 60 fps resolution. To boost image capture in photo and video mode, Feiyu added the WDR feature. This feature can improve image quality so that it looks sharper, detailed and colors closer to the original. In addition, there is also support for the noise reduction feature to ensure that the image capture remains sharp in all lighting conditions.
Other features of this camera are the AI Object Tracking function for automatic shooting and object tracking, 180-degree panorama mode, timelapse, hyperlapse, and support for accessories for a waterproof casing that can be invited to dive to a depth of more than 20 meters.
